Shopify, WooCommerce and headless Medusa
A new Shopify, WooCommerce or headless Medusa store, matched to your catalogue, your staff and how you fulfil orders in Australia.
Service 03 · Online stores & agentic commerce
New builds, migrations and speed rescues on Shopify, WooCommerce and headless Medusa, for businesses across Australia. Payments, shipping, stock and product data are set so people can buy today, and so assistants can compare products and, where AI checkout is available to your store, complete checkout.
What’s included
You work with Chris Conen. Architect and Astra, the AI engineers, write, test and review the code under his supervision. The build covers six areas.
A new Shopify, WooCommerce or headless Medusa store, matched to your catalogue, your staff and how you fulfil orders in Australia.
We migrate catalogue and checkout, then do speed and conversion work on templates, images and the path to payment.
We connect Stripe, PayPal, Square, Afterpay, Zip or Tyro, and send the paid order to Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online or Reckon.
We connect Australia Post, StarTrack, Sendle, Couriers Please or Aramex, and keep stock aligned when an order is paid and a label is created.
Titles, prices, availability and attributes in the product feed, written so an assistant can compare your range.
We complete the UCP technical implementation Google describes, so you can submit an interest form. Google selects merchants, and you stay seller of record.
See it in action
The product card, the platform chooser and the order pipeline show the data assistants read, which of Shopify, WooCommerce or headless Medusa fits, and the path from payment to customer notification.

Use cases
Typical Australian businesses we build this for. Examples, not client stories.
A Gold Coast surf shop
A Melbourne B2B supplier
A Perth bike shop
We are building a headless Medusa store for Marina Yacht Sport (Europe, launching late 2026), with Stripe checkout, invoicing and shipping labels connected. Mobile PageSpeed: 69 for the old store, 97 for the new one.

Typical Australian pricing: A$12,000–35,000 for a small-studio Shopify build with a custom theme (Pryce Digital, 2026), and A$10,000–20,000 as a typical ecommerce budget (Uprise Digital, 2026).

How it works
You tell Chris what you sell, which platform you are on, and where payment, stock or shipping breaks down.
We walk through the platform chooser with you and pick Shopify, WooCommerce or headless Medusa for your catalogue and team.
Architect and Astra write, test and review under Chris's supervision. The build covers checkout, payments, shipping, stock, accounting and speed.
We check feeds and the UCP technical steps, measure mobile speed, and Chris remains your one point of contact.
Questions
Partly. Google’s Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) launched in Australia in June 2026 with selected retailers, so shoppers can buy single items inside Search, AI Mode and Gemini (Inside Retail). Google’s Merchant Center Help says checkout covers Australia for select merchants, and you stay the seller of record.
Google’s Merchant Center Help (October 2026) says the self-serve UCP hub is rolling out in the United States first, with Australia and Canada to follow next year. We do the groundwork now: product data, feeds and checkout readiness, so you can apply as soon as it opens.
Shopify’s Agentic Storefronts is on by default for eligible stores and can list products in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot and Meta. Shopify’s help centre (October 2026) says direct checkout in AI Mode and Gemini, and selling in ChatGPT, currently require selling to United States customers.
Deloitte’s 2026 Retail Report found 45% of consumers use AI to compare products and services, and 11% use it to complete or automate purchases. An Ideally survey of 809 Australians, reported by eCommerceNews Australia in October 2026, found half had used AI to research a purchase.
Yes. AWA (Chris Conen) is building a headless Medusa store for Marina Yacht Sport, a European yacht-equipment retailer, launching in late 2026. Stripe checkout, invoicing and shipping labels are connected. Measured the same morning, the new storefront scored 97 on mobile PageSpeed and the old store 69.
Tell Chris what you sell, which platform you are on, and whether you need a new build, a migration or a speed rescue. You deal with him directly, Australia-wide.

We work in writing, so every decision is on record and time zones don’t matter. Send a five-minute brief and get a written plan and a fixed quote within two business days, from Chris, not a sales team.
